Shipping : Your shipping quote consists of two parts; the amount we think is fair to package your unit for international travel, insure it, import to the US, track its progress, and deal with claims in the event it is damaged en route, and the amount it costs us to export goods and transport them to your door. The shipping charges themselves are only one component. Since we ship prepaid goods only, the customer bears no responsibility for importation of goods or Customs clearing charges. However, you must pay for freight up front and provide us with a telephone number at the time of your order. We'll never call you, but we have to put it on the Customs paperwork. After trying several methods, we've settled on FedEx as our primary shipper. Their door-to-door service has been outstanding, and has been problem-free to date. Figure a cabinet to weigh about a hundred pounds, and a BC origin (postal code V3M 1X1) if you'd like to check it out. So we combine the two components (labour & freight costs) and we try to be fair. The best guess is between one and two hundred dollars, but check the link.
